Privacy notice

This notice covers the data MyHeroStudio uses for the free trial and the license. The code of your projects never goes through our servers.

What data

• The email and billing details you enter when signing up: name or company name, address, tax code, VAT number, SDI code, PEC.
• Subscription payments (date, amount, period) received from the payment provider.
• A PC fingerprint: a code computed by the program and hashed one-way (sha256), used to bind the license to a single PC. It contains neither the PC name nor other data.
• Start and end dates of the trial or license, date of the last check, PC changes.
• The IP address contacting the license server, kept for 24 hours to block repeated attempts.

Why and on what basis

To manage the trial and the license (checking it is valid, that it is used on one PC at a time, contacting you about it) and to issue invoices. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for invoices, legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)); for the IP, legitimate interest in the security of the service (Art. 6(1)(f)). No profiling, no advertising, no sale to third parties.

Where and how long

On a server of the controller in the European Union. Trial and license data are kept while the license is active and for 24 months after the trial or license ends, then deleted; IPs after 24 hours. Invoice and payment data are kept for 10 years, as tax law requires. Payments go through Stripe under its own notice: we never see card data.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability of your data and object to processing based on legitimate interest by writing to info@myherosoft.it. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
